The gaming fraternity can be divided into two category - one, which consists of all those die hard game enthusiasts who take their gaming quite passionately, whereas there are also those casual gamers for whom, gaming happens to be just a fun way to kill their leisure time. For the latter, the more suitable games are those which are not complicated in nature- simple, easy going fun games so as to say! The recent years have witnessed the number of these games rising almost exponentially, for more and more people are increasingly using computers as a source of entertainment. Smiling Bubbles 1.1 for Mac is such a game, designed to entertain casual gamers with its simple, and interactive game-play.
As mentioned before, Smiling Bubbles 1.1 is a simple game that comes with a pretty basic graphics and soundtrack. Low-end graphics make sure that it runs smoothly without consuming too much of system resources. Upon being launched, the game opens up with an interface segmented into two sections. The Left panel which is much larger in size hosts the game play, whereas you can find the main menu as well as your score in the right panel. The main objective of the player is to remove all the colorful bubbles displayed by shooting. However, simple it may be in terms of functionality and other aspects, but one certainly requires some skill to advance through the game. You can choose the difficulty level according to your preference, and with a little practice, there is every chance of you becoming an expert in the game.
Overall, a nice entertaining game. But the graphics and soundtrack could have been way better than what it is now. Hence it gets a score of two-and-a-half rating points on the scale of five.
